We started the day in Tauranga. I knew today would be busy, so I was up early and did some work, before heading off from Tauranga to Rotorua. My Mum has wanted to ride the luge ever since she saw our photos from a camper van trip we did a couple of years ago. So, we took her and Dad to Rotorua to visit the hot mud pools, then we caught a gondola up a mountain so that we could ride the luge down. It was great fun, and we headed back up to enjoy lunch overlooking Lake Rotorua.
We had a great day and eventually headed back to Tauranga late in the day.
